Julie Anne Shea is a multi and cross-disciplinary artist living and working in the forest of Dondingalong, Kempsey, NSW.
Working mainly with paper and water based materials Julie’s recurring themes include nature, the human figure, perception, and creative processes. She uses traditional and experimental techniques including Dadaist cut up techniques to go beyond expected outcomes. Her works on paper often cross to a third dimension.
Julie finds joy in the astonishing variety and beauty of flowers and often draws floral arrangements as a meditative practice.
