Lara feller is an emerging Sydney Based artist and 2023 current graduate of the national art school who works primarily in the medium of oil paint. Her current work focuses on the still life and depicting flowers in an enlarged scale to capture their beauty. Lara finds fascination in this as capturing them allows them to live beyond their intended life span through the eyes of the viewer, capturing philosophical ideas of the Vanitas. Although her work ranges in subject matter her consistent use of realism invites an intimate incite into her world and how she views her subject matter capturing movement and depth. Lara continues to produce works following her graduation both in exhibitions and private commissions.
